Kim Ogden - Owner


Kim Ogden earned a B.A. in Anthropology at Texas A&M University and a M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. She worked in law enforcement for four years before beginning a career in marketing and public relations.   She first served as the Assistant Director of Marketing at Woodland Heights Medical Center, then as the Public Relations Director and Event Planner at Brookshire Brothers Corp. She is now the owner of The Journey Magazine and Executive Media Director for

Nature’s Eye Media.

Beth Johnson - SENIOR EDITOR


Beth Johnson loves the written word and believes in its power to encourage others and positively impact their lives.  She earned a B.S. in Elementary Education and M.S. in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University. She began her career as a classroom teacher and then an education administrator.  She is now the Executive Editor of The Journey Magazine and Nature’s Eye Media.



Kelly Hudman loves all things art.  She earned a fine arts degree in graphic design from Hardin Simmons University.  She enjoys painting, photography, and printmaking, and employs those skills to curate stories for companies and brands.  Kelly is the Senior Design Director for The Journey Magazine and Nature’s Eye Media.



Lisa has been the go-to photographer for The Journey Magazine for over 10 years. A Lufkin transplant, Lisa is mom to two beautiful girls, a realtor for Timber Country Real Estate and the owner of Lisa Crow Photography & Events
